Description
The Capacitor guild is based on the power of electricity. It's members become walking, talking, fighting batteries with the ability to dump huge amounts of raw electricity into thier opponents.
Directions
From Heart: 4d, 3n
Keep in mind when you arrive, you will take some random electrical damage....like about 30-40 points or so....so if you have less HP than that you will need to wait until you get some more wil/con before you join.
Subguilds
There are no Subguilds in Capacitors at this time.
Game Play
When creating your character, the primary stat is Int for skills, wil adds a little to charge and this is primarily a combat guild.
You must first go to the shop in the guild and buy a subaxionic capacitive wristlojackimator apparatus in order to use any of the capacitor skills.
Capacitors start with a certain amount of charge mostly based on int , wil and electrical aptitude skill. Charge is used mostly for disintegrate (like old shock, direct damage) or electromagnetic pulse (room area damage and some delay).
Generally combat will consist of going back and forth between disintegrate and overcharge. Overcharge will do fire damage and start damage over time as well as give you back some charge. You can then use surge to every 12 seconds to get a decent amount of charge back as well. Energize weapon works on metal weapons to do electric damage and add a special.
Defensively, you have electromagnetic shield for the non-blunt/edged/piercing resistances. You can then use bolster shield for a 15 seconds for a large resistance boost to all including blunt/edged/piercing which then has a 30 second cool down.
Aegis of Electricity is a shield which adds resistances and occasionally gives you back some charge when it gets hit.
Invigoration allows you to gain fatigue at the cost of some charge and increases your ftg regen while active.
Delta Protocol is your last line of defense. When your hp get low enough, this skill will activate and can save you from taking damage for a short time. You will lose some skill points when it activates.
You will also gain charge from movement, this is something like 1 charge every 20 rooms.
You can go over your max charge. The more you go over, the more damage you will take as it slowly drains down to your max charge. General movement will not cause you to really go over too much. Just be aware of when you are in combat and use surge and overcharge that you don't overdo it. You can use disintegrate or even discharge skill if you need to, to reduce charge quickly.
Use the capstatus command to see which skills are active and available.
